2023 Brandt Salvage Bins

Wherever scrap pipe needs to be easily collected, the Salvage Bin can be integrated. Various customizable types of salvage bins include a standard bin, a pass over style bin, an EZDown style bin, and a self-ejecting style bin allowing scrap to be collected and recycled. Bins can be designed to be lined with rubber bumpers, steel straps, nylon straps, or none at all.

Features may include:

Standard Bin
  • Brandt Standard Salvage Bin design is constructed of HSS tubing and can be designed to meet any pass line and pipe length requirements. Adjustable foot pockets allow each bin to be installed at specific pass line heights based on in feed and exit equipment requirements. This bin is intended to use at "the end of the bay" where the machine kicks product into the bin and is craned out.
Pass Over Style Bin
  • This can be added onto the standard bin design and consists of a hydraulically activated gate to allow pipes to roll across while closed, and drop into the bin when open. The gate has three positions: closed, open, and craned out. Open position activates the gate to approximately 30 degrees from horizontal to allow single pipe to fall into the cradle. A hydraulically activated tab stop on in the feed side holds product back during the crane out.
EZDown Style Bin
  • This can be added onto the standard bin design and consists of electrically driven "self-lowering" straps every seven feet to properly support pipes. Product falls into the bin, and breaks the photo eye causing the straps to lower. The motor stops when the photo eye becomes clear again. A single gear motor and continuous line shaft are mechanically linked to ensure the straps stay at equal height.
Self-Ejecting Style Bin
  • This can be added onto the standard bin design and consist of a hydraulically activated individual lift arms to move product out of the bin and onto the exit skid table. All arms are timed with pressure compensated flow control valves.
